Five decades of trusted expertise.

Since 1976, Static Electric Ltd. has been Winnipeg's dependable partner for electrical contracting, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.

As technology evolved, so did we. In the early 1980s we launched a dedicated computer cabling division in response to the emerging demands of the information age. Today, our factory-certified installers hold credentials from the industry’s leading structured cabling manufacturers, allowing us to serve clients across new construction, renovation, and ongoing maintenance projects of any scale.

What began as a single-trade electrical shop has grown into a full-service contractor trusted by governments, financial institutions, airports, and businesses across Manitoba.

Reliability

As a small team, we’re able to respond quickly and effectively. Static Electric delivers the same quality installations and service that clients have come to expect—project after project.

Technology Leadership

We stay current so you don’t have to. With factory-certified installers trained by top structured cabling manufacturers, we’re equipped for today’s infrastructure demands and tomorrow’s.

Honesty. Integrity. Passion.

Static Electric Ltd. was founded in 1976 by Garth Robertson. The company grew quickly, and it took on the qualities of the man himself: an uncompromising commitment to doing things right, a deep sense of personal responsibility to every client, and a genuine passion for the trade.

Honesty, integrity and passion aren’t just policies written on paper—they were lived and they remain the foundation of everything Static Electric does to this day.

Safety is a way of life.

At Static Electric, we sincerely believe that strong safety performance is one of the clearest indicators of a well-managed, efficient, and professional operation. Safety isn’t a regulation to comply with—it’s a commitment we make to every person on every jobsite, every day.

Any accident is a reflection that, somewhere, we have failed in our responsibilities. We trust that all of you will co-operate fully and join us in a personal commitment to make safety a way of life.

Static Electric Ltd. commits to going to any reasonable expense to ensure a safe workplace:
