Static Electric Ltd. was founded in 1976 by Garth Robertson. The company grew quickly, and it took on the qualities of the man himself: an uncompromising commitment to doing things right, a deep sense of personal responsibility to every client, and a genuine passion for the trade.

Static Electric Ltd. commits to going to any reasonable expense to ensure a safe workplace:

- Provide the necessary personal protective equipment and full instruction for its proper use and care
- Investigate every accident promptly and thoroughly—to find the cause and correct the problem so it will not happen again
